Located in a jungle setting near a small village, it’s a cosy, personal landing spot away from home where you’ll meet new friends right away. Most of our guests are new to Yoga class, so it’s a wonderful retreat if you’re a beginner!

You’ll be walking into a retreat environment full of laughter, connection and inclusion. We bend over backwards to make our retreat guests feel comfortable, and want to share the best of what authentic Bali has to offer with our cultural workshops right. Our activities at this affordable retreat are completely optional, so if you need some deep rest and time to yourself know that you’ll feel welcome to come here and just relax.

For guests who stay longer than 4 days, we offer a complimentary airport transfer.

This retreat takes place at the Balinese village of Sesandan in the midwest of Bali, Indonesia.

Join us to unplug and relax, gifting yourself some soulful self-care as you enjoy the mountain views and Bali’s typical architecture during your stay with us.

Bali, also called “The Island of Gods” holds this special magic that is hard to explain, but that you will instantly connect with when arriving at this retreat.

The combination of yoga, pranayama, meditation, ceremonies, and soulful self-care will bring you the bliss and peace you are longing for and your stay with us will allow you to unplug and reconnect to who you truly are.

Besides of learning about Balinese culture and dropping deeper into full relaxation, you will meet like-minded people, go on a fun waterfall adventure and make many memories that you won’t forget. We promise you will leave feeling refreshed and inspired.

What Makes This Retreat Special

This retreat is special in that it’s a family-like atmosphere away from home. Most of our guests are solo travelers and many are new to Yoga, and find this is a wonderful way to meet like-minded souls. You’ll make new life-long friends here at Bali Garden with lovely people from around the world. You can expect a laid-back environment where you can be yourself.

You have the opportunity to participate in twice daily yoga and meditation classes that are suitable for people new to Yoga at this Balinese paradise. Some of our classes will be held at the beach, where you can go for a swim or a relaxing beach walk afterward!

You will get the chance to witness Balinese culture and rituals, visit a beautiful waterfall nearby, take part in village workshops such as coconut oil making, Balinese cooking class, Balinese traditional music class, village walking tour,

We offer non-vegetarian as well as vegetarian and vegan food options.

The workshops are all optional! We want guests to relax and rest if they are coming on retreat to go inward and give themselves personal time.

Besides of enjoying two daily yoga and meditation classes at this Balinese paradise, we will immerse in Balinese culture during our excursions to the village.

You will get the chance to witness Balinese culture and rituals, as well as to enjoy the gorgeous nature surrounding us on our trip to a local waterfall.

We will offer regular as well as vegetarian and vegan food options so that everyone can find what fits them best.

Day 1

  • 13:00-14:00 Arrival, Balinese lunch; and Personalise your program
  • 15:00-16:00 Welcome Drink and enjoy your complimentary spa treatment!
  • 16:00 – 17:30 Afternoon yoga and meditation every other day & Balinese cultural activities/excursions
  • 19:00 – 20:30 Delicious Dinner

Day 2 – day 4

  • 08:00 – 09:30 Morning Vinyasa/Hatha & meditation classes led by our experienced instructors
  • 09:30 – 10:30 Breakfast, Morning fresh juice or Relaxation or Spa treament if included in your package
  • 11:00 – 12:30 Morning village activities
  • 13:00 – 14:00 Delicious Indonesian lunch with light salad
  • 16:00 – 17:30 Afternoon Yoga Session every other day & Balinese cultural activities/excursions: making coconut oil, making balinese offering, Balinese dancing, cooking class, balinese music,etc
  • 17:30 – 18:30 Village excursions: walking around the village to see the village temples,village culture and people activity
  • 19:00 – 20:00 Delicious dinner with light salad

Day 5

  • 8:00 – 09:30 Morning Vinyasa/Hatha & meditation classes led by our experienced instructors
  • 09:30 – 10:30 Yummy Breakfast with tropical juices and light salad
  • 11:00 – 12:30 Morning village activities
  • 13:00 Yummy lunch and Depature

Food

Bali Garden Retreats provide Balinese culinary meals.

Guests have the option to request regular, vegetarian, or vegan Balinese meals.

Welcome drink with coffe, tea, Fruits juice. Also please enjoy your lunch and diner with special menu from our retreats.

TEDDI

Putu Teddi is our star yoga teacher, who initially came to yoga as a proactive approach to injury prevention, while engaging in other activities such as cycling.His yoga journey began with the practice of Ashtanga yoga along with profound self-inquiry and study of spiritual practices at local ashrams.

ELI

Born and raised in Bali, Eli has been in love with Yoga and alternative healing practices for over a decade. Her journey began with the practice of Hatha Yoga, after which she was introduced to Vinyasa Flow and immediately connected with this style where asanas are connected through the breath for a transformative and balancing effect.She trained extensively with both Balinese and Indian Gurus in the practices of yoga, meditation, and energy (“Qi”) movement. Eli loves exploring what she calls “inner yoga”, the practice of which triggers an awareness and experience of the connection between the mind and the body.
